AHMEDNAGAR, AUGUST 7, 2012 : On July 30 and 31, 2012 Bosco Gramin Vikas Kendra organized a Health Camp in two villages named Hanga and Valvane in Ahmednagar district. It was organized in collaboration with Operation Blessing of India and Booth Evangical Hospital. Around six hundred sixty people benefited from this health camp.
The Health Camp began at 9.30 a.m. At the very outset, the sarpanch of the village welcomed the social workers and the management staff of BGVK and the doctors and appreciated the organization for its wonderful work for the upliftment of the downtrodden ones in the villages.
There was a team of 8 doctors and 4 nurses present for this health camp. Br. Ramesh Durairaj, the director of BGVK welcomed all the doctors and the villagers and explained to them the purpose of having this health camp. Young and old and the school children benefited from this programme. People did appreciate BGVK’s interest in their welfare. The health camp ended at 5.30 p.m.
