BORIVLI - MUMBAI, JULY 06, 2013: The students, along with the fathers and the teachers of Don Bosco High School, Borivali, celebrated the feast of St. Dominic Savio, on the 5th of July '13. All in a true Don Bosco style.
Following Don Bosco's dictum, "Run, Jump and Play…but above all PRAY," The day began on a solemn note with a mass for the catholic boys celebrated by the parish priest and a prayer service for the non- Catholics. Rev. Fr. Aloysius Furtado explained the ideology of Dominic Savio proposing him to the kids as a model for leading their lives in a joyous Christian way.
As the mass ended, one could see the excitement on their faces. All geared up to take on the games organized for them! The high school boys sweated it out on the grounds, while the middle school had entertainment lined up in the school hall. It was a time for fun and frolic, and they relished it!
A few light and running showers did not really dampen their spirits. In fact, they kept asking for more. The day ended on a happy note…with some light snacks in their hands and a broad smile on their faces, it was time to say goodbye… Till another day!
