LONAVLA-PUNE, OCTOBER 4, 2014: Don Bosco High School and Junior College, Lonavla conducted a term end prayer service and Diwali programme for its students. The programme was planned by Ms. Swati and Ms. Dethe. It was carried out in two sessions. The students of Std. V-X witnessed the programme at 9.00 a.m, while the Junior college witnessed it at 10.15 a.m.
The programme began with a prayer service, thanking the Lord for the blessings received during the first term. It also spelt out the importance of the different days of Diwali. The prayer service was followed by an entertainment programme, which consisted of dances and songs. This was in honour of the Diwali festival that would be celebrated in a few weeks.The students had an enjoyable time before gearing up for the first term exams that would began on October 4, 2014.
