MUMBAI, DEC 23, 2015: Christmas is a time of caring and sharing and spreading the message of love, joy and peace. This spirit was truly reflected in the Christmas Panorama celebrations held at the Don Bosco educational complex, Borivli on December 21 and 22.
Students from the primary section to junior college joined forces to add to the festive spirit through a range of team-building activities. They also collected items such as soaps, stationary and notebooks to donate to the lesser fortunate brethren. During the advent season, students were given time in their daily schedule to prepare a star, crib, Christmas tree and a poster conveying the Christmas message. Their creations were displayed on December 21.
Their efforts ensured that the entire campus - from classrooms to the corridors - was beautifully decorated with stars, trees, mistletoe, streamers and many more items that are symbolic of Christmas. Competitions such as carol singing, dancing to Christmas songs and a headgear competition were also held for the students. The students enacted a play entitled, 'No room in the inn', which helped all understand the true meaning of Christmas.
