JAWAHAR, FEB 8, 2016: A small group of past pupils gathered at Bosco Samajik Vikas Sanstha (BSVS) in Walwanda, Jawahar on February 5 to mark the feast of Don Bosco. The gathering was not held on the actual feast day, January 31, as it was a Sunday, a working day in the industrial area of Palghar, Wada.
The past pupils maintained that BSVS played an important role in their development and that it was not just a technical school, but also a home to them. They met some of the new students registered at the technical school for the February to April course. The alumni spoke highly of their experience at BSVS and also about the challenges in the work world.
They encouraged the new students to use the many opportunities made available to them at BSVS well, so as to prepare themselves adequately for the future. The programme for the day concluded with the distribution of Diploma Certificates and a talk by Father Anaclete D'Mello, who congratulated the alumni for their accomplishments.
