MUMBAI, DEC 7, 2016: Fun, frolic and healthy competition was in the air as youth from Saint Dominic Savio parish in Wadala, participated in 'Sport's Hungama 2016', organised by the North Mumbai Deanery at Our Lady of Victoria Church and Saint Michaels' Church on December 3 and 4.
Indoor games, like Table Tennis, Chess and Carrom were held at Our Lady of Victoria hall on the first day, while outdoor games like Rink Football, Box Cricket and Throwball were held at Saint Michaels' grounds on Sunday.
Even though it was a weekend, everyone laid aside their plans and came together to participate in the event. It drew youth from around eight parishes who competed in various games.
Youth from Saint Dominic Savio parish participated in most of the games held. Sylvester Tixeria and Austin Edwards won the Second place in both Carrom Men's Doubles and Table Tennis.
Richard D'Mello, president of the youth group of Dominic Savio Parish said, "It was an enjoyable event, that helped us bond better as a group and of course motivating, when we come back with a win."
The youth showcased their talent and gave their best to keep the banner of Saint Dominic Savio parish flying high. Kudos to the youngsters!
