MUMBAI, JULY 8, 2017: Shelter Don Bosco celebrated the feast of St. Dominic Savio by inaugurating a house system, after national symbols like Mahatma Gandhi, Jawaharlal Nehru, B R Ambedkar and A P J Abdul Kalam. Four team captains were also installed on July 6.
The leaders took a solemn oath to see to the smooth running of the house. All the team members cheered their captains as Father Gregory D'Almeida handed them sashes.
The team leaders were encouraged to use the four national icons as an example while leading. A short video was shown on the life of these great leaders to inspire the team captains.
Father Pratap Damor then inaugurated a point system by giving 100 points to each team. In his vote of thanks, Father Roshan Gonsalves asked the teams to adopt healthy competition in the new point system.
