BIS #5595 PERSONALITY DEVELOPMENT FOR HOLISTIC GROWTH

by Cleric Telston Lobo
GUJARAT, AUGUST 3, 2018: Standard 10 students from Don Bosco High School, Kawant attended a personality development programme, which was conducted by Father McEnroe Lopes, on August 3.
Father Lopes began the programme with the example of the traffic signal which prompts vehicular traffic to stop and take stock of their lives. The youth were urged to be goal-oriented. Father Lopes used games and videos to prompt the youth to have a definitive vision for life.
The matter explained by him became clear to the students on account of the thought provoking and self-involvement exercises. He repeatedly focused on the importance of having a clear goal in life, saying "Without a goal, we tend to drift away but with a clear set goal we can reach great heights."
One of the students, Jaydeep Nagarsing, said, "I remember Father saying that all of us have some special talent within us, what we need to do is to recognise it and make the best use of it for the betterment of our own selves and for the society at large."
Jayesh Mansing, a student, added, "Father's words about thinking and planning for the future is as important as eating and drinking daily."
