MUMBAI, AUGUST 31, 2018: Batch number 33 of the Hotel Management department of the Bosco Boys Home and Technical Institute, Borivli, had their field trip cum educational visit to hotel Waterstones, located near the international airport in Andheri (East), Mumbai. This is a flagship property of Mars Enterprises and Hospitality Private Limited.
The Mars Group is a leading player in the food service and hospitality industry in India, promoted by Sanjay Narang. In all 25 students participated in this exposure, which was co-ordinated by William Sequeira, instructor of the Facility Management department of Bosco Boys Home and Technical Institute. The students were guided through the various departments of the hotel by Grace, from the training team of the hotel.
“It was good practical approach for our students. To really see how they actually work in such hotels, will make them realise what is expected from them, ” Sequeira, said. “I come from a small village in Jharkhand and have never seen such a big and spacious hotel. I am really thrilled to have got such an experience. It was an eye-opener for me,” Sanjay Ekka, a student, said.
