MUMBAI, SEP 3, 2018: Fifty-two people – including 20 students and 32 adults – attended the 14th edition of the Master Your Mind workshop conducted by D P Mahesha, the Founder and Director of Masterminds International – on August 26 – to help people learn, think, recall, create and solve problems.
The workshop was conducted in two separate batches at the Don Bosco, Matunga, campus. The first batch for children was held from August 18 to 26. The second batch for adults was held on August 18, 19, 25 and 26.
On the first day, the group was given a list of words to memorize. Mahesha then helped them use memory techniques to recall the words, much to the amazement of those present. The batches were taught breath-work, speed reading techniques, about different brain waves and methods of creating a mind map.
"I was really impressed with the memory demonstration and the breath work," Kabir, a third-year microbiology student, said.
Elvis Braganza, a telecom professional, added, " The breath work is definitely going to help me in the future, as I can already feel the change as well as the mind map which I'm going to put into practice immediately."
