2009. "Quest" as the e
xhibition was named means a long and difficult search and this is what the Principal Fr. Anthony Fonseca led the school to do in the field of Science.
With great enthusiasm, the students, under the guidance of the teachers started working for this exhibition. The choice of topics was varied and remarkable. Right from DNA - Mapping to the remote control equipments, none was left untouched. Contemporary ideas like Rainwater Harvesting helped the students understand and appreciate the need of the hour. Working models of eclipses and Dams were handled by the stu
dents with great ease. The oral presentations of every item were also remarkable.
In the judges seats the exhibition saw distinguished scientists and educationists viz. Dr. Ranjit Mitra - Scientist BARC (retd.); Dr. Mrs. Srirupa Mukherjee - H.O.D Chemistry (ICLES Motilal Jhunjhunwala College) and Mrs. Lalitha Ramaswamy - winner of President Award as best Physics teacher from Anushaktinagar Junior College.
Lastly, the co-operation extended by the parents is definitely mentionable which made the whole project a big success.
