CHHOTA UDEPUR, NOVEMBER 24, 2009:
On the evening of November 21, 2009 the Catholics and faithful of Chhota gathered in the parish hall for an evening of Praise and Worship- the Indian Way. To inculturate with the surrounding traditions and culture, the best way to pray is through song. The locals of Gujarat and also the tribal community have bhajans sung to have a spiritual experience.

The well known Kathakar of Gujarat, Fr. Ignas Macwan sj who has been the parish priest of Dhandhuka, 120 kms north of Ahmedabad for the last 18 years, came with his team of worshippers for an evening of singing of bhajans coupled with preaching of the year of the priests and our response as Faithful.

Fr. Ignas sang and spoke with much enthusiasm on our ways of relating with God and also our way of relating with priests. Fr. Ignas who himself has given more than 25,000 bhajan services also celebrates 25 years of priesthood. The faithful of the parish along with the boys and girls and also many from the parishes of Narukot and Kawant took part wholeheartedly in this prayerful worship.
