MUMBAI, DECEMBER 5, 2009: In keeping with the Mumbai schools laudable commitment in developing skills and conducting cultural events, the education department of Mumbai came up with "Mumbai Vibhagiya Sahashaleya Upakram Samiti 2008-09"- A Platform for interaction and cultural integration among the various schools in Mumbai. As a part of this cultural fest different activities were planned for the students including elocution, drawing competition and Lezim.
Following students have made St. Joseph's Wadala proud:
Master Shahzad Faroodi of class VI won the third prize in the elocution competition for the Junior Group held at King George School.
Master Jugal Shahadadpuri of class IX won the third prize in elocution competition in the Senior Group held at King George School.
Master Aunsh Arekar won the first prize in the drawing competition held at Sitaram Kesari School.
Another feather was added when Master Shah Dharmin of Class VIII and Master Ansh Shah of Class VII displayed their talent with colours and meritious prizes at the drawing workshop organised by the JJ Institute of arts to commemorate the completion of 75 years. 21 schools all over Mumbai participated in this event.
