Master Ashraf Ali Makandar from Std.X has been selected to represent the state in the U-17 Football Team and would be heading to Dhule for training after which he would be representing Maharashtra at the national level.
Master Harkirat Singh Kalsi of Std X represented Mumbai Division on December 3, 2009 and stood fifth. Thirty participants from all over Maharashtra took part in this event. Master Harkirat Singh stood first in the race organized by Mumbai city 15 participants from all over Mumbai participated in this event on November 29, 2009; he completed the race in 1 minute 30 seconds covering a distance of 1 km. On the same day he participated at the zonal level standing third among 30 participants from Thane, Raigad, Mumbai city and Mumbai suburbs. He covered a distance of 4 kms in a commendable 6 minutes.
