MUMBAI, DECEMBER 29, 2009: On December 23, 2009, Don Bosco High School, Borivli celebrated Christmas with great gusto and recreated the magic of Christmas once again and brought alive the spirit of Christmas once again.
The Celebrations began by lighting the lamp by Fr. Ronald Menezes, Rector; Fr. George Carlos, Principal; Sir Jadhav, Senior Teacher and Mst. Roystan D’costa the School Captain. Carols rocked the air and had students of class 5 -10 swaying to the beats of music and the Electronic band. Various skits and plays brought alive the message that Christmas is more than just Happy celebrations. It is also about Sharing and Caring for those who need our love in this busy and dreary world. It is important to remember the values that Christmas brings us and see Jesus in each one of us.
Santa Claus brought cheer and gifts as he danced to the tune of Jingle Bell Rock. May this Christmas light every heart and May the Light of the Christ Child break through the darkness of our lives, and help us be a ray of His Light to illumine the world, spreading Christmas peace, joy and love.
