SUKET, JANUARY 22, 2010: The newly ordained priests Fr. Royal and Fr. Briston were welcomed to the mission of Salawad – Suket through a colourful Rajasthani dance and the young priests were up to it with their charming presence and motivating words for the students and parents of Don Bosco parish and school – Salawad (Suket). The Eucharist at 11:00 am was attended by the children, teachers and a few parents of the 2 parish schools where the priests called the youngsters to scale new and challenging heights in life, and to motivate them, shared their humble but inspiring life stories.
A colourful Rajasthani cultural welcome to the Don Bosco Madhyamik School under the supervision of Fr. Glen then followed where the kids showcased their talents to express their gratitude and love for the work of the Salesians. The visit of the newly ordained priests, planned as Vocation Day by the parish community, concluded with the newly ordained having an informal meeting with the Class VIII and Class X students.
