NERUL, AUGUST 6, 2010: Literary Day was celebrated on July 23, 2010. The objective behind organizing this day was to promote and instill the love for languages. To give them an opportunity to exhibit their talents and to provide a platform for our budding poets, lyricists, writers and speakers.
The panel of judges for the day were as follows:
Fr. Anthony, Fr. Vivian, Mrs. Dimpy, Mrs. Adarsh, Mrs. Milan, Mrs. Poonam, Mrs. Joyce, Mrs. Keya Basu, Mrs. Nimarta and Mrs. Kiran.

The session started with a choral recitation for classes I and II in all the languages i.e. English, Hindi and Marathi. The children gave their 100% and were very much enthusiastic about it.
This was followed with the elocution for classes III-IX, in all the three languages. The students were very much confident and performed the task well with clear fluency, proper pronunciation and appropriate and relevant pauses.

We then had a creative writing session for classes’ I-IX to exhibit the originality of their ideas for all the three languages.
This was followed with an interacting and challenging session of debate for classes III-IX. This was conducted to enhance their quick thinking and how far are they able to inspire the audience and pass on a wide range of information to a wide range of audience orally.
Even classes of I and II had their debate session which was full of refreshing and innovative ideas.

On the whole each and every student did 100% justice to their topics. It was a good beginning and we hope that it turns out to be better and best in the coming years.
