Bro Johnson and Anthony Sdb
DAKOR, AUGUST 14, 2010: It was the culmination of the whole Marian month which the boys were looking up to every year. Every boy in the boarding sees that his team comes first in the Marian month competitions. But for the brothers here it was a different experience seeing the great devotion the boys have towards Mother Mary.
The boys prepared themselves well for this event of which was going to be a memorable one for them. Fr Ignas the Vice Rector of the community declared the Marian nite open with the thundering claps of the boys. Apart from the games that were being played at the Marian nite the boys shared that they learnt what role Mother Mary had played in the life of Jesus and continues to play in their lives. The boys said that they would like to write a letter to Mother Mary everyday because they can see the difference in their studies. The Marian nite was also blessed with the presence of the Salesians sisters and the sisters of St Ann of Luzern.
The winning team was Immaculate who wore the crown to their glory. Another sight to be admired was that the other teams cheered the winning team and appreciated them for their hard work. All the other teams got their prizes too. There was a lot of sharing among the boys.
The brothers thanked all the staff members for their constant support during the Marian month and specially Fr. Ignas for his help and guidance in all that the brothers needed during the Marian month. The boys also thanked the brothers for all the hard work that they had put in the organization of the Marian nite. They to were crowned and felicitated. The Marian nite ended with a happy note of praying the three Hail Mary’s thanking our lady for her constant help and motherly protection. The boys went to sleep saying to the brothers and fathers “KASU PAN KARSE MARIAM MATE”.
