An inspiring prayer dance invoked God’s choicest blessings. It got one and all to raise their minds and hearts to the Almighty. Then a welcome song set to a foot-tapping melodious tune, put the parents in the mood. The lyrics for the song, was composed by the students themselves and Cl. Charles set it to music. The lighting of the lamp by the Chief Guest and Management was followed by floral bouquets and Prize distribution. A Power Point presentation highlighted the main events of the year.
Then came the moment we all were waiting for, the staging of the musical: “Oliver Twist”. The students took the audience right to the very heart of Charles Dickens’s London, and to the era of the Great London Waif Crisis. The enthusiastic cast, heartfelt score and stunning choreography kept the audience glued to their seats. The array of color and music enhanced the show. A thunderous and standing ovation then followed the curtain call.
