: On February 3, 2011 Bosco Boys Home, organized a Carom Competition for the students of the Institute. Forty students put in their entries in the singles and doubles round. Br. Richard, who organized the tournament arranged for the carom boards and set the lobby area of the campus for the matches. Holding the trophy in his hand Fr. Anthony Santarita declared the carom tournament open.  Students of MoRD, Sankalp, and Bosco Boys were present for the inaugural ceremony.

The tournament started and it went on the whole day, with only the tough contenders remaining on. The final in singles was between Durgesh Devras and Vinod Raj of Bosco Boys, where Durgesh beat Vinod in a continuous three board. The doubles was played between Michael and Karan from Bosco Boys, against Romeo and Mackson from Sankalp.  After a tough round of five boards, Michael and Karan emerged as winners.

The winners were awarded with a certificate and a medal presented by Fr. Anthony Santarita and Fr. Bastin Thomas.
