Tejas Sawant has been awarded the Gold Medal and a cash prize of Rs.600/- in this examination. He has been awarded the title of ‘Young Scientist’ for his achievement. He has secured first rank in the Mumbai region for scoring the highest marks in the theory examination. He is the only one to secure the Gold medal in the area from Dahisar to Malad. Four Gold medals were awarded in the Mumbai Province. His action research project titled ‘Mystical Mulch’ was a novel, eco-friendly gardening technique which helps to reduce the rate of evaporation of water from the soil, supports the growth of plants and gives the garden a harmonious blend of beauty and utility. It is equally beneficial for farmers and the common populace as it is very feasible and cost effective. He has taken the help of his teachers and experts to execute the research.

This examination helps the students to adopt a scientific attitude and also cultivate a deep interest for the same.

We hope and pray that we have many more students to move up and achieve success. May Tejas be a shining example to one and all.
