BORIVLI, MARCH 1, 2011: The third Reunion of the Don Bosco Alumni was held on February 26, 2011 from 6.30 pm onwards. In all sixty five past pupils attended the reunion along with their families. It was really nice to see all the retired teachers present for the reunion. Teachers, Mrs. Makhijani, Mrs. Vimla Srivastava, Mrs. Kusum Tiwari, Mrs. Martha Gonsalves, Mrs. Anjana Mehta and Mrs. Celia were all there to lend their support to their loving students. The teachers who could not come sent in their best wishes and blessing through a video clipping. The students were thrilled on seeing their old teachers. Many of these teachers now have their grandchildren studying in Don Bosco, Borivli. Students from far off places attended the reunion.
Our young men were very happy on meeting their colleagues. A student reunited with his class mates after passing out in 1982. All the retired teachers were presented with a bouquet and memento for making their presence felt in spite of distance and ill health. The Alumni Association wishes to thank each and every teacher who made it possible. A token was also presented to each and every student. The subsequent entertainment and dinner was appreciated by all. The Alumni Unit also presented those present with a power point presentation of the activities carried out by the unit and encouraged the GEX members to take up the membership and activities of the Alumni Unit. Hoping to see, a lot more active and energetic minds ahead.
