NARUKOT, MARCH 9, 2011: On March 7, the students of Don Bosco School, Narukot, organized an Annual day together with Parents day. Parents had come in numbers to witness the talents of their children. Fr. Titus, a Principal of the school and Mrs. Joshna Parmar, the Principal were the chief guest. Originally, the collector was supposed to be the chief guest but was unavailable due to some reasons.
The day was organized in two parts. In the first part from 10.00am to 12.30pm, Fr. Titus gave a talk on right to education. The students and the parents enjoyed the talk which was educative and lively too.
The second part consisted of twenty four cultural programmes. This showed the interest of the students who came up to show gratitude to their parents. The programmes had variety of dances such as Konkani, Tamil, Marathi, Rajasthani, Gujarati, semi Bharat Natyam, Thakri and the most loved Rathwi dance too. Skits and songs had their own flavor in the programme.
The parents left with a great sense of pride that their children are studying in Don Bosco. Such was the departure feeling mixed with prayers for the Salesian staff and the community.
