LONAVLA, SEPTEMBER 5, 2011: Don Bosco Lonavala was glad to host the programme ‘SujanPalak’ a seminar on parenting for Parents of the school and college students of Lonavala.
The seminar began at 9:15 am with a short prayer service. Fr. Lorenzo the Principal introduced the speaker for the day; Mr. Vikas Dikshit a B.E Mechanical, studied mind sciences for more than twenty years, an avid reader of books on mind, NLP, Huna Philosophy, management and self-improvement. He is also a certified Master Practitioner of NLP. He conducts training for managers, teachers, students and parents.
Mr. Dikshit touched on various topics like anger management, emotional balance and above all the gift of being a parent to children. Around two hundred parents attended the seminar not only from Don Bosco Lonavala, but from the neighbouring schools and colleges too. The response was overwhelming and the parents appreciated the speaker for his input sessions.
As part of the ‘Golden Jubilee Celebrations’ the management is trying to reach out to different levels of individuals – Managers, Educators, Parents and Student Leader, thus making Don Bosco known locally.
