BORIVLI, SEPTEMBER 10, 2011: A Medical Health Camp for the tribal students of MoRD (Ministry of Rural Development) was organised on September 8-9, 2011 by Fr. George Carlos the Principal of Don Bosco High School, Borivli. The tribal students are currently training at Bosco Boys Home, Borivli.
In all eighty students attended this Medical Health Camp. Since these students came from the tribal region where they hardly get to see the Doctors it was Fr. George Carlos concern that a thorough check up was necessary, many of these students were also seen by the skin specialist and advised medication.
The two days Medical Camp benefited all the students where in they got the check up done free of cost. We would like to appreciate and express our sincere gratitude to Dr. Kasbekar for his time, concern, and the special attention given to the tribal students, also a special word of appreciation to the Principal Fr. George Carlos for inviting the students in his campus for the Health Camp.
The Director of Don Bosco Technical Training Institute, Fr. Anthony Santarita has also shown keen interest in seeing that all the students were present for the camp
