BIS #2575 DBCL KURLA - MUMBAI CHOSEN AS VENUE FOR NYFA WORKSHOP

MUMBAI, SEPTEMBER 10, 2011:
Don Bosco Centre for Learning, Kurla has been chosen as the venue for the Second New York Film Academy Workshop to be organised in Mumbai. The workshop is to be organised from November 14- December 10, 2011. The NYFA Workshop is hosted by YSF (Yellow Submarine Film Pvt. Ltd), the official representative for the NYFA in India.
  
The four-week Film Making and Acting Workshop will be conducted by a team of award-winning instructors and staff from the NYFA. State-of-the-art equipments inclusive of cameras, sound and light equipments, computers, etc will be specially flown in for the same. A minimum of hundred students are expected to participate. DBCL is located on a six-acre campus and comprises various institutes. Besides Don Bosco College which offers Bachelor`s Degree in Mass Media, the College also offers a Bachelor`s Degree in Hospitality Studies (Hotel Management & Catering Operations). DBCL also has on the campus St. Joseph`s ITI, Don Bosco Maritime Academy and Don Bosco Institute of Technology offering a BE in four streams. The Don Bosco Institute of Management and Research offers a PG Degree in Management.
 
Ms. Suniti Ghoshal - Founder Director of YSF, Mr. Kaushal Shah of 1TakeMedia.com, Fr Adolph Furtado - Director DBCL, Fr Joe Braganza - Executive Director BMM-Don Bosco College along with Mr Lavy D`Costa - Official Representative (DBCL) inked the deal at a board-meeting on September 08, 2011.

Fr. Adolph Furtado Director-DBCL said ``This is a great opportunity for the Salesians of Don Bosco to work with the YSF and the NYFA. We are hopeful that everything will go on well. `` Ms. Ghoshal, an alumnus and the sole representative of the NYFA in India said ``It is our privilege to associate with a vast and acclaimed educational body like the DBCL.
