BORIVLI, SEPTEMBER 19, 2011: On September 17, 2011 the Media Festival 2011 “Come let us celebrate the Power of Youth” was organised by Amar Media Centre at Auxilium Convent High School, Wadala. The Salesian Sisters have opened the gateway to talents that were hidden in the youth of Mumbai city and especially for the Hotel Management students of Bosco Boys’ Home.
On the day of the festival, the youth and the children put up an excellent performance. The students of Don Bosco Technical Training Institute, Borivli who participated in this festival returned back with a trophy for the skit competition.
I still remember the day when the invitation came through postal service and was opened by the Director Fr. Anthoiny Santarita who went through it and made up his mind that he would ask the students to participate in it. One week of intense training and coordination with the group made it possible to perform a skit under the title of "Never Feel Defeated with Defeat" produced and directed by Fr. Anthony Santarita himself.
This achievement by the students would have not been possible without the help of Fr. Anthony Santarita, who spent his three fundas which is Time, Talent, and Trust in the students. We also thank our Project Coordinator Mr. Dayanand Patil for making all the arrangements for the practice sessions.
