BORIVLI, OCTOBER 1, 2011: "It feels like winning is in the air for Don Bosco High School, Borivli", the school Principal Rev. Fr. George exclaimed.
As an annual practice, the R/West Ward had organised various competitions for the school students as well as the teachers in different co- curricular fields. It is a practice mainly to encourage the students to explore various potential in them. These competitions were being held for the past ten days in different schools. One such competition was 'the folk dance' held on September 29 at St. Anne's High School. Under the guidance of Ms. Shubhangi and the choreographer Mr. Rahul Khot, our senior boys put up a wonderful show in form of a unique dance "Jogwa" Jogwa is a special dance form specifically devoted to Goddess Yellamma. Our team bagged the third prize among twenty odd schools. It was indeed a very proud moment for us.
Congratulations dear boys. Keep it up.
