BORIVLI, OCTOBER 24, 2011: This year once again as we all are reminded about our purpose and our mission on planet earth it gives you immense joy when you are a part of it. St. John Bosco Church celebrated Mission Sunday on October 23, 2011 and this time it was for the mission Church in Gujarat.

The boarders of Bosco Boys Home were privileged to be a part of the mission this year as they sang for the evening mass on Saturday. It was for the first time that the boarders of BBH had participated in the singing they spent almost a week practicing songs in English, Hindi, Marathi, Konkani, and Latin. Boys from different religion participated in the choir for the evening mass. The melodious singing touched the hearts of the parishioner's that few came forward to thank us all. Fr. Anthony Santarita the Director put all his talent and time preparing these boarders for the choir.  On Sunday morning the BBH students put up a food stall with items such as Chocolate Eclair, Chocolate Donut, and Chelsea Bread, under the guidance of Chef John Patrao the faculty who teaches bakery class for the students of Don Bosco Technical Training Institute.

We would like to express our sincere gratitude to the rector of St. John Bosco Parish Fr. Ronnie Menezes and the community for giving the boarders of Bosco Boys Home to be a part of Mission Sunday.
