BIS #2680 HOSPITALITY TRAINING AT DIVYADAAN

 DIDIVYADAAN, NOVEMBER 08, 2011: The brothers at Divyadaan had a short three-course module on Hospitality Training and Confectionary on November 5, 2011 from 8:30 – 1:00 p.m. This was conducted by the Hospitality staff at Bosco Boy's Home, Borivali. The three courses held were Bakery and Chocolate, House Keeping and Table Etiquette. The whole module was organized under the able leadership of Fr. Egidius Falcao.

The community was blessed to have efficient persons like Mr. Patrick, Mrs. Flora and Mrs. Apolline. Mr. Patrick taught the brothers the art of setting and serving at a table. Mrs. Flora imparted some basic skills of baking cakes and making chocolates to the brothers and Mrs. Apolline instilled the sense of making beds, arranging lockers and looking for cleanliness in the room.

The brothers enjoyed learning hospitality skills from the three courses. The courses too were made interesting by the teachers who not only shared the technical details but also excerpts from their life that supplemented the moments of learning. It was a wonderful interaction between all. The entire programme was appreciated by the brothers and the teachers were commended for their expertise.
