BIS #2685 PAN CARDS ISSUED TO THE MARGINALISED STUDENTS

Patrick Corda

BORIVLI, NOVEMBER 09, 2011: The importance of having a Pan Card has made the marginalised students of MoRD project solve their problem of having an identity proof. These students who come for their training to Don Bosco Technical Training Institute find it difficult to get an identity proof from their villages. Pan Card is one of the most important requirements of many big companies who provide employment to theses students.

When the institute saw that the companies demanded for a pan card the Director of BBH Fr. Anthony Santarita immediately made arrangements with UTI Infrastructure Technology and Services Ltd a Government of India Company who deal in pan cards. Mrs. Kusum Maro agent of UTI visited the institute and explained the procedure to fill in the form and provided necessary details regarding the documents required.

This service is not only provided to the students of the institute but also to the many underprivileged people living around the vicinity of Borivali.  A total of two hundred and sixty people have been provided with a pan card. Fr. Anthony Santrita wants to continue this act of service. We would like to thank Br. Richard Burkhao who coordinates in this service.
