DAKOR, DECEMBER 12, 2011: On December 5, 2011 Don Bosco Dakor organized its twenty second Annual Day for the year 2011-12. The chief guest was the mamledar, Sir Yatin Chaudhary who was unable to attend the programme because of an emergency.
Teachers together with the children worked hard to keep the standards of the Salesian school. The highlights of the programme were the cultural dance namely; tippali and garba; skits, film dances and a mini musical written by Cl. Justus Mendis on the celebration of the Jubilarians. The musical emphasized on the need of a Priest in today's society.
The winners and outstanding students in the academic studies, sports, catechism and various other competitions were awarded. The school report too brought the moments of initiatives and victory in the hearts of every pupil.
Fr. Alex Fernandes, the Rector and Sr. Pramilla, the incharge of St. Anne's PTC Hostel, honoured the programme in place of the chief guest. Fr. Ignas, the Principal was congratulated for his management and the work he does for the school students of Don Bosco Dakor.
