BORIVLI, FEBRUARY 14, 2012: The Annual day and Prize Distribution function at Don Bosco Borivali, this year had a unique touch. The Primary school organized their Annual Day on February 02, 2012, followed by the Pre-primary Annual day on February 10, 2012. "EXPRESSIONS AND IMPRESSIONS" and "LOVE IS IN THE AIR" were our themes respectively. The children of the primary school expressed their gratitude to their teachers, parents and friends with their impressions and expressions through the medium of song, dance and various other presentations.
What was unique about this Annual day was - that each and every child of the school participated and they were trained under the guidance of their teachers.
The Annual Report was very comprehensive and gave every detail of all the activity and laurels of the Primary section and Pre-primary section. The show was well compered by the teachers and children.
The Chief Guest - Education inspectoress Mrs. Mirajkar was impressed with the presentation, which she expressed through her flowery words. The prize distribution for the academic year 2010-2011 was held on this occasion. The entire show was carried on by the children and was truly impressive. For a moment the audience must have wondered whether it was a professional presentation.
Following the primary section was the pre-primary annual day showcasing "LOVE" in its true meaning. The Chief Guest Mr. Glenn Rodrigues – Administration Officer of Colgate Palmolive Ltd.  was appreciative and read a meaningful poem. It was a treat to the eye to watch the Savioites perform the foot tapping dances. These innocent, pure and lovable performers rocked the show. They indeed enveloped the audience with their love. The free flowing presentation and heart touching performance was marvellous. The surprise item by the teachers and parents was well appreciated. Lucky for some was the lucky dip.
The Annual Day marked the sheer hard work, togetherness, perseverance and implementation skill of the teachers, parents and children under the able guidance of Rev. Fr. George Carlos – our Principal and Mrs. Marina D'souza, the Headmistress of the Pre-Primary and Primary Section. It was a memorable event to be cherished and remembered forever.
