PUNE, MARCH 12, 2012: It was another event-filled month at Sacred Heart Parish, Yerwada – with the Youth Directors' Meet, the Youth Fest, and Catechism Day being observed. Representatives from fourteen dioceses in the western region gathered together under the leadership of Bishop Allwyn Barretto – bishop-in-charge for youth of this region on February 23, 2012.
This was the first time that Sacred Heart Parish played host to such a gathering. Fr. Anton D'Souza – erstwhile youth director of the Nashik Diocese, prior to his appointment as parish priest of Sacred Heart Parish – was specially invited to the meet.
