MATUNGA, MAY 11, 2012: The Association of Mary Help of Christians (ADMA), Provincial House, added five new members to its family.  May 06, the feast of St. Dominic Savio was chosen as the day for their solemn Commitment [in lieu of May 24]. The special Mass was celebrated with the ADMA members and their families in the crypt of Don Bosco's Madonna, Matunga, at 9.00 am. The Holy Mass was presided over by Fr. Elson Barretto, Provincial Economer, and Fr. Wilfred D'Souza, Spiritual Director (ADMA). During the homily Fr. Barretto, briefly touched on the life and virtues of St, Dominic Savio, and how the virtues of the saint resembled the principles of ADMA.

Then new members made their commitment, led by the President of ADMA, Mr. Marian D'Souza, and were handed over the ADMA I-cards, the blessed badges, along with the book of regulations. The new members were welcomed into the Salesian family.

A welcome party was arranged by the senior ADMA members, at the Provincial House. At the party all the members introduced themselves and their family members over tea, cake and other snacks. All present then congratulated their Spiritual Director, Fr. Wilfred D'Souza, who is completing fifty years of his First Profession on May 24, 2012.

Earlier, on May 05, the Mumbai Chapter of ADMA, held their elections for the posts of President, Vice President, Secretary and Councillors. We extend our best wishes to the newly elected members that they may give their best to bring ADMA to every family.
