DAY ONE GOES GREEN WITH A WELCOME AND A FAREWELL

SAVEDI, JUNE 18, 2012: The Management of Don Bosco Bhavan, Savedi was glad to welcome back the staff and students of the School and College and at the same time felicitate the outgoing supervisor Mr. Sandeep Kasab during the assembly on June 15, 2012.


The assembly began with a moment of prayer after which Mr. Kasab the outgoing supervisor of the School and College was felicitated for his three years of service to the institution. "I have only fulfilled my duty and done my little bit in return for all the institution has done for me" said Mr. Kasab in his thanks giving speech. The Principal Fr. James Nigrel took great pride in welcoming the whole School and College especially those who were new to the School and College. Fr. Anthony Goyal and Br. Ranson D'Souza the two new members of the community at Don Bosco Bhavan were introduced by Fr. Nigrel and welcomed by Fr. Manual Murzello, the Rector of the institution after which all the new students of the School beginning from the I to the X were called forward and personally welcomed by Fr. Nigrel with a rose. "This place that was vacant for so many days and looked nothing less than a desert has been transformed into a lovely garden with your return." Said Fr. Murzello as he welcomed the staff and students of the school and college.


The Principal too later went on to support Fr. Murzello as he welcomed the staff and students saying, "Indeed Fr. Rector has spoken rightly, we are happy to have you in this place, we are happy the flowers of our garden are back, we are also happy that we will have moments to laugh with the confusion that will take place." He then went on to give important instructions for the coming year which included the theme of the year 'GO GREEN'. "This year we will all strive together to keep our surrounding green and clean." Said the principal raising the new green calendar of the School and College.


On the whole all seemed very happy either to return or to come to Don Bosco School and College for the first time. It was a beautiful sight to see the smiles on all the faces as the place was once again vibrant with so many youngsters.
