GOVERNOR’S AWARD FOR DON BOSCO SCOUTS

BORIVLI-MUMBAI, SEPTEMBER 14, 2012 : The Scouts of Don Bosco High School, Borivli who had appeared for Rajya Purskar Test 2011-12 had successfully passed the test and were eligible for the Governor’s Award.
The North Mumbai Suburban Bharat Scouts and Guides dist. Association vide their letter NMS/116/2012 dated August 11, 2012 while intimating the school about the eligibility of the Don Bosco Scouts for the Governor Award had asked the School to select one best Scout as a representative of the school.
Master Rushil Kotian of Std. XA was chosen, to represent the school.
Master Rushil Kotian, was subsequently selected by the Dist office as a representative for North Mumbai Suburban Bharat Scout.
Rehearsals for the award giving ceremony were held on September 10, 2012 at Scouts and Guides Pavilion, Shivaji Park, Dadar, and Mumbai. After the rehearsals, Master Rushil Kotian was chosen by the officials at the state level to personally receive the Governor’s Award, on behalf of the North Mumbai Suburban Bharat Scouts and Guides Dist.
Master Rushil Kotian received the Award from the Maharashtra State Governor Shri K Shankarnarayanan of September 11, 2012, At Rajbhavan (Mumbai).
