FIRST CANDLE OF THE ADVENT WREATH LIT - 02 DECEMBER

BHINGAR-AHMEDNAGAR, DECEMBER 04,2012 : Fr. Satish Kadam, Asst Parish Priest of Ghodegaon, the officiating President of the Eucharist on Sunday December 02, lit the 
first candle of the Advent wreath welcoming the time of preparation for the coming of the Baby Jesus at Christmas.
He did this at the beginning of the Sunday Mass in Bhingar Church during the Marathi Mass.
He then gave a homily on the reception to be given to Jesus this Christmas, improved relationship between parents and children, and the importance of belonging to the Catholic Church.
Prayer of the faithful and Offering of gift marked this mass celebration and the people all gathered together to welcome the Christ child into their heart and homes this Christmas.
Fr. Nelson Falcao, Parish Priest, is presently attending the Don Bosco Book and Media Fair, at Matunga to inaugurate and launch his long awaited and new released English Version of the Kristapurana, which is hitting the market this Christmas.
