CHILDREN’S DAY CELEBRATION
SAVEDI-AHMEDNAGAR, DECEMBER 14, 2012: Children’s Day was celebrated for the students of the Sunday Catechism class in Don Bosco Savedi on December 09, 2012. Fr. James Nigrel, incharge of the Sunday Catechism classes planned this programme along with the Sunday Catechism teachers.
The day began with the morning’s assembly at 8.20 a.m. in the hall of the Marathi medium school wherein the presence of God was invoked. Fr. James then spoke to all the students telling them that they are indeed precious and are the future of the world.
Party games were organized for about an hour by Cl. Ranson and the help of the Auxillium sisters. After having enjoyed the games the winners were given away the prizes by Fr. James. A special present was given for the youngest Catechism student.
After the students celebrated the Eucharist at 9.30 a.m. in the Church. Snacks were given to all the children outside the church.
All the children had broad smiles on their faces as they returned home after the celebration.
