MUMBAI SUBURBAN OPEN SPEED SKATING CHAMPIONSHIP

BORIVLI-MUMBAI, FEBRUARY 25, 2013: The Mumbai Suburban open Speed Skating Championship was held at Don Bosco Borivli on the February 24, 2013.  The Event was organised by the Club: 'TEAM SPEED' This competition which is held every three months was held on the premises of Don Bosco Borivli.

 

In all there were Four Hundred and seventy five entries from the Categories of V-4, V-5, V-6, 6-8, 8-10, 10-12, 12-14, and 14 years above.

Mr Ganesh Rao the Senior Vice-President of the Skating Association of Maharashtra was also present. Mr Raj the Coach of 'Don Bosco Borivli, Skating Association' was proud of successfully training and encouraging thirty students from Don Bosco, Primary and eleven students from the Secondary section to participate in this tournament.

 

Mr Ganesh Rao in his speech thanked the Management of Don Bosco, Borivli for the interest they have created in the Skating Discipline and in sports on the whole.
