BAL PANCHAYAT DIVAS AT BGVK HANGA

AHMEDNAGAR-NASHIK, MARCH 08, 2013: On March 05, Bosco Gramin Vikas Kendra organized a Bal Panchayat Divas in Hanga, a village in 
Ahmednagar. The chief guest was Madam Roswitha Mous from Germany. She was accompanied by Ms. Julia from Germany and Fr. Edwin D'Souza sdb.
The dignitaries were welcomed in the village style. The programme began with a welcome song. The evening was marked with the awareness skits on "Environment and Abortion" performed by the children.
What brought life to the celebration were the lively dances performed by the children of Bal Panchayat. The programme was an asset in bringing the villagers together. The 
village community appreciated and encouraged the children performing on the stage.
In her speech, Madam Roswitha expressed her joy in visiting India and thanked the village community for the warm welcome and the beautiful progrmme that was put up by the children. This was the first time Madam Roswitha had an opportunity to meet the children of Bal Panchayat.
Right now the district of Ahmednagar is experiencing drought. Yet Don Bosco is planting hundreds of seeds in the hearts of youngsters. May these seeds grow up in huge trees giving fruits and shade to their brethren.
