NERUL-NAVIMUMBAI, MARCH 18, 2013: The green crusaders of Don Bosco Senior Secondary School, Nerul, Navi-Mumbai have something to cheer about as the academic year comes to an end.

Yes! Finally we have achieved the second runner up award in the Green School Campaign 2012-2013. Don Bosco Senior Secondary School, Nerul is the only school from Navi-Mumbai to be nominated among the top ten schools in the Green School Campaign Award.

The Boscoites have toiled throughout the year and finally reaped the fruit of their hard work. We owe everything to God almighty's grace and mercy that has given us the strength and stamina to follow our dreams.

The award is in recognition for the various activities the school has taken up by the active participation of the students. A special mention has to be made on the GFP- "Gift flowering plant" project that was greatly appreciated by the organizers of green Line team.

The school was given a cash prize of Rupees twenty five thousand to be used for various environmental programs and projects.

The greenest student award of the school went to Melton Suares.  Our sincere gratitude to Fr. Principal Anthony for his initiatives and support, the Eco club faculty teachers Mrs Annie Gomez, Mrs Kiran Mhatre, Mrs Mamta Sharma and Mrs Samruddhi Chaudhari for their hard work and co-operation and finally the enthusiastic and vibrant eco warriors for their ceaseless efforts.
