BORIVLI-MUMBAI, AUGUST 26, 2013: The Primary Section of Don Bosco Borivli bid farewell to their loving teacher Mrs. Roopali Walwaikar, who dedicated her services to the institution for thirty-five long years on 23rd August, 2013. She was escorted to the School Hall by Rev. Fr. William, Fr. George and Fr. Baptist with the Primary Office Bearers. All the primary boys welcomed her by singing her favorite song.
The Head Mistress Mrs. Marina compered the event. The Primary children expressed their gratitude through the medium of prayer, song and dances. A farewell song was sung by the teachers. Mrs. Roopali was praised and appreciated by Father Rector in his speech.
A token of appreciation was presented by P.T.A. members from every class. It was an occasion to remember. Mrs. Roopali delivered a speech with a message for the boys, "Be good, be happy! Work towards success, respect your parents, elders, teachers, care for nature, be God fearing and be good citizens." She thanked the staff and students for their love and support for thirty five long years and prayed that Don Bosco would shower his abundant blessings on them. The program concluded with a vote of thanks from the Principal Fr. George Carlos.
