KARJAT-MAHARASHTRA, OCTOBER 9, 2013: The Parishioners of Our Lady of Rosary Church celebrated their Parish Feast on Sunday 6th October, 2013. The feast which actually falls on 7th October was celebrated on the 6th in view of New Provincial's Installation on the 7th.
In preparation for the Feast, the parish conducted Novenas for nine days. This year being the Year of Faith, the themes for the Novena Masses were taken from the different articles from the Apostolic Creed. The themes were very informative and thought provoking. The celebrants for all the nine days did an excellent job of conveying these themes through their homilies.
Fr. Dilip Donke sfx, Director of Adivasi Samaj Vikas Kendra, was the main celebrant for the Feast day Mass. In his simple homily he emphasized the theme of Faith in relation with the Holy Rosary.
After the Mass, all the concelebrants were felicitated with beautiful hand made flowers.
The feast was a grand successful because of the Pillar sisters and the youth, who put in a lot of planning and effort and looked into all the details with a lot of precision.
