BIS # 3712 VALUE EDUCATION PROGRAM

NERUL-MUMBAI, OCTOBER 18, 2013: The Value Education Program for Class II-B was held on 10th October,2013 at Don Bosco Senior Secondary School,Nerul.The topic for the program was ' Not to play too, many video games'. The teacher in charge of the program was Ms. Meena Tanwar.The objective of this program was to make the students aware of the ill-effects of playing video games continuously.

The program began with a prayer followed by the School Anthem. Later, a skit was enacted to show how children now-a-days are so involved in playing video games that they do not give proper time to their studies, friends, diet and most important family. The skit also included a dance in which the child gets a dream that robots are attacking him with their guns.

The program concluded with a Vote of Thanks, by Ms. Meena Tanwar followed by the Noon talk given by the Principal, who emphasized on how students should give more time to outdoor games rather than playing online games.

Overall, the program was successful in creating awareness about not to play too many video games and stressed on time management, giving sufficient time to parents, friends as well as studies.
