BIS # 3736 FANTASTIC FESTIVE SEASON

BORIVLI-MUMBAI, NOVEMBER 4, 2013: People eagerly await Diwali every year. Irrespective of how the previous year went by, all is forgotten and people celebrate the festival with the same enthusiasm year after year. Indeed, the festival is capable of stopping time in India and unites people from all walks of life.

 Students keenly await Diwali not just for the festivities and the fireworks but also for the vacation it provides. Children's Day follows in quick succession. Celebrations prevail. Don Bosco High School, Borivli, joined in the celebrations on the 31st of October, 2013.

Diwali was celebrated through a Mass and Prayer Service, which commenced on an auspicious note, with a melodious Prayer Song and the lighting of the lamp. Meditative chanting and prayers soothed the audience. Values like Religious Harmony, the significance of Diwali, the essence of education were emphasized though skits, PPTs and videos.

Recreation time followed. The Middle School thoroughly enjoyed their outdoor games. The High School had fun playing hilarious indoor telly games. The students dispersed for their Diwali vacations, having enjoyed to the fullest.
