BORIVLI-MUMBAI, JANUARY 7, 2014: The week from 9th to 13th December 2013 was celebrated as the Green house week at Don Bosco, Borivli. The students and teachers of the Green House put in a lot of efforts to make it a memorable one. Keeping the theme Go Green and correlating the Green colour with life.
Every day teachers and students spoke on various topics during the morning talks in order to create awareness about eating Green Vegetables like spinach, broccoli, karela, cabbage, capsicum, as well as green fruits like Green banana, Green apples, watermelon, pear and guavas. They also advised them to spend time in parks stressing on health and fitness.
The walls of the primary section were decorated with pictures, charts and slogans on 'Go Green' the colour of progress and growth. Colouring competitions was held. Tiffin's were with green fruits and vegetables. On the last day the teachers and children dressed in green. The green house week was concluded with a quiz on 'Think Green' and a poem on 'Green'.
