The teachers took them around the park for a sight- seeing tour to see the miniature models of the 'Wonders of the World'. They were taken on a mini toy train ride; they also went on new international swings. Later the children were organized in groups and were seated in the 'Baithak' gazebos after which they returned to the school at 11.30 am.
Picnic provides an opportunity of informal communication between teachers and students. This helps in building a bond between them. It gives them out of class experience, and helps in social development and informal way of learning.
Teachers and students were thrilled to be at the park, the children enjoyed playing on the fantastic new international swings and mini toy train ride. Teachers felt it gave them opportunity to know the students better in an informal atmosphere.
