NERUL-MUMBAI, FEBRUARY 11, 2014: The value ‘Freedom Of Speech And Expression’ was showcased in the School Assembly on 4th February , 2014 by the students of Class VI B under guidance of Class teacher Mrs. Neeru Nigam and supervised by Mr. Pankaj Rai, the supervisor.
The objective of the Assembly was to show that it is very essential for us to express our thoughts and ideas to others.
The value education program began with a prayer followed by a skit. A video clipping was shown on Life of Nelson Mandela and his social work in South Africa.   Singers sang the song “khud jiye sabko jeena sikhayee” melodiously synchronized with the music played by their fellow student Annie Keerthana. Few inspirational drawings were displayed by students followed by a strong message “Umeed wali dhoop” at the end.
The power point slides were very beautifully presented. Costumes were appropriate for all modes of communication.
Students learnt that, ‘Even if a hundred people think in a particular way, you have the freedom to think differently and express your views accordingly.’
