NERUL-MUMBAI, FEBRUARY 21, 2014: Don Bosco Senior Secondary School, Nerul organised ‘Don Bosco Sports Festival’ on 11th February 2014. The Sports 
Rev Fr. Bonnie Borges (Manager) and the Supervisors were the Guests of Honour for the Opening Ceremony. The festival commenced with the felicitation of the dignitaries.
Rev. Fr. Bonnie Borges then declared the meet open. Teams from 15 schools, situated in Navi Mumbai, participated in the event. Basketball and Football matches were organized for participants under fourteen and under sixteen years of age. Cheers and supportive shouts could be heard throughout the day as the participants encouraged each other.
The DGM & Zonal Manager of Bank of India, Mr. Mohanty, the President of Football School of India & a national Football player, Mr. Abhishek Yadav and Rev Fr. Bonnie Borges (Manager), were the Guests of Honour for the Closing Ceremony. The results at the end of the day brought joy to teams belonging to Fr. Agnel, DAV, Ryan International and Green Fingers, as they were declared winners.
The players enjoyed thoroughly as well as learnt a lot from their team mates. The Sports Festival was organised by the Physical Education teacher, Mr. Shailesh Jadhav under the guidance of Rev. Fr. Anthony Fonseca (Principal).
